Job Details

BASIC FUNCTIONS

Responsible for leading the configuration and maintenance and development of medical group technology solutions including but not limited to KP HealthConnect, eConsult, toolbar and MAS applications.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads /facilitates decision making within the organization to tailor systems to meet business needs.
  • Leads and manages multiple projects and associated cross functional and multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Continuously monitors progress and takes corrective actions that ensure successful achievement of project goals.
  • Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with business owners and other consulting resources.
  • Recognizes and works effectively in complex, political and ambiguous situations. 
  • Uses organizational and personal influence strategies to encourage desired behavior among team members. 
  • Provides guidance and acts as a resource for Application Coordinators and project managers in designing resolutions to complex issues.
  • Devises and implements methods for ensuring that project management processes are followed.
  • Analyzes operational data on performance to ensure technology solutions support business needs and direction.
  • Establishes and assures communication of change control procedures across the project.
  • Assure compliance with all KP HealthConnect change processes.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/BA required in engineering, math, statistics, physics, MIS, or other hard science with strong academic performance.   Masters Degree preferred.
  • Epic certified on Reporting Workbench and Radar required; Epic experience/proficiency or certification on Ambulatory, OpTime or ASAP.
  • Strong application configuration background either in healthcare or large software applications.
  • Flexibility due to varying deadlines and project goals.
  • Rapid learner.
  • Expertise in data structures, content and interpretation of specific data elements; high level SLQ skills
  • Resourceful and confident under pressure.
  • Ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience.
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
  • Experience or familiarity with:  SQL, SharePoint, Excel, Access, Remedy, Teradata, Crystal Reporting.
  • Previous related experience needed.
