Job Details

Adobe is looking for a Sr. Computer Scientist (Sr. Software Engineer) to help build the next generation of marketing cloud products. Working with data scientists and product managers, you will design, develop and deploy machine learning and AI applications on the Adobe Marketing Cloud that help businesses understand, manage, and optimize the experience throughout the customer journey. Example applications include real-time online media optimization, media attribution, predictive sales analytics, product recommendation, mobile analytics, predictive customer scoring and segmentation and large-scale experimentation.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of design and development of high quality enterprise solutions. Experience working with SaaS products with machine learning or data science components would be a plus.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Architecture, design and development of machine learning and AI products in Adobe Marketing Cloud.
  • Working closely with data scientists to implement scalable and reusable machine learning algorithms in production system.
  • Working closely with product managers to design new product features.

Requirements

What You Need To Succeed

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related fields; 7+ years of software development experience.
  • Proven ability and extensive experience in owning, designing, and developing enterprise-scale SaaS applications.
  • Expertise in one or more programming languages such as Python, Scala, Java and C.
  • Experience with big data techniques (Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark) and querying tools (such as Hive, Pig, Impala).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (such as AWS or Azure) and extensive experience of developing applications on the cloud platforms using various cloud services
  • Experience with relational (SQL) and NoSQl Databases.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem solving ability.
  • Excellent communication, relationship skills and a strong team player.

     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with one or more statistical and machine learning packages such as R, SciKitLearn, SparkML(MLlib), Tensorflow
  • Knowledge and experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, or data-mining techniques is a plus.
