In order to support Facebook’s mission and community’s growth, Facebook must scale its Infrastructure efficiently. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to execute data, statistical, business model, financial and market analyses to optimize and answer key questions regarding the growth of Facebook’s Infrastructure and connectivity programs. The ideal candidate is extremely versatile, willing to learn new skillsets, has superior modeling / data science skills, is able to conduct market research resourcefully and demonstrates exceptional business judgement with a proven track record of using analyses to influence decision-making. The candidate should be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and highly team-oriented. This is a full-time position based in our Menlo Park, CA headquarters.



  • Partner cross-functionally with capacity engineering, hardware engineering, network engineering, connectivity programs, data science, finance, technical program management, and other product / engineering teams to develop thoughtful analyses and deliver key insights for production and non-production Infrastructure development.
  • Influence the deployment of Facebook’s Infrastructure by leading strategic frameworks for decision-making which may include but are not limited to: engineering design decisions, key business metrics, go-to-market strategy, infrastructure capacity forecasts, market/industry due diligence, cost/business models etc.
  • Manage cross-functional projects from inception to completion which will include both technical and non-technical responsibilities
  • Build automated dashboards for real-time visibility on business drivers
  • Leverage tools like Excel, SQL, R, Python, Tableau, GSMA, etc. to drive efficient analytics and reporting
  • Interest and willingness to work on both complex data science / engineering and business model / strategy projects


Minimum Qualification

  • Degree in an analytical field (e.g. in Engineering, Economics, Business, Mathematics or similar field focused on quantitative and analytical areas).
  • 6+years of experience in data science, analytics, investment banking, management consulting, private equity or analytics-heavy function at a high-growth technology company
  • Experienced with tools like Excel, SQL, R, Python, Tableau and GSMA.
