Job Overview

In this role you will be own the relationships with different IT and Business partners in Operations, Infrastructure, Engineering support driving their reporting and analytics requirements for successful IT and business outcomes. You will help partners to provide real insights into their respective functions with the goal of providing descriptive, prescriptive and predictive analytics which can result in successful business outcomes such as customer retention, cost savings, cost avoidance, reduce mean time to failure etc. The position requires you to be a thought leader who can truly partner with IT and Engineering and help them transform and/or optimize their existing workflows, KPIs and metrics.


Minimum Qualification

10 years of experience in IT and/or related fields.
5+ years of experience in an IT organization working with Big Data including:
-Experience with presentation and data visualization and familiarity with tools like Qlikview, Tableau, Splunk and H20.
-Experience leading a team of highly skilled data analysts and provide clear guidance aligning team with business outcomes.
-Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
-Knowledgeable on current industry best practices and toolsets in Data Analyics and reporting space. 
-Experience with Statistics and Probability - ANOVA, Descriptive Statistics, Decision Trees etc.
-Experience working with Infrastructure building blocks such as Network, Server, Storage and IT operations in general.
-Experience developing and maintaining documentation.


Preferred Qualification

1. Knowledge of Hadoop framework is preferred.

2. Knowledge of Cloud technologies and providers is preferred.

3. Work on cross department and function projects.

4. Knowledge of Predictive Analytics tools like H20, Mathematica

5. Knowledge of Machine Learning is preferred.

6. Knowledge of Project Management framework such Scrum, Agile

7. Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

8. Ability to communicate technical data and analysis to non-technical audience.

9. Adhere to corporate change management policies and practices.

Education Requirement

BS in Engineering or Computer Science is required.
MS in Engineering, Computer Science or Data Science is preferred.
