What You'll Do
Analyze large data sets to develop new models and algorithms to predict application performance, trend, and cost etc.

Develop data driven algorithms for optimization application performance while minimize cost.

Improve accuracy of models through automated backtesting frameworks.

Provide analytics support for reporting and data acquisition strategies.

Improve processes in Data Acquisition, Data Modeling, Knowledge Representation and Inference across a variety of structured and unstructured data and data sources including relational, graph, and columnar databases

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our Data Science Team. The person will work alongside industry-leading cloud computing technologists and data scientists to solve large-scale, complex, and challenging problems in performing both predictive analysis and prescriptive analysis for applications in the cloud and their underlying infrastructure.

Who You Are
Masters Degree or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or similar field of study, and more than 3 years of equivalent work experience in machine learning.

Experience in developing data-driven algorithms in performance modeling, system optimization,and machine learning.

Experience working with distributed systems, and strong understanding of technologies like Spark, Hadoop/Hive, mySQL etc.

Experience with R, Scikit-learn, H20, data mining, machine learning, statistical modeling tools and underlying algorithms.

Programming experience in one or more of the languages like Python/Shell/C/Java/Scala.

Attitude to thrive in a fun, fast-paced start-up environment with stellar team of fellow data analysts and programmers.
